Engy Adham

Engy Adham is a documentary filmmaker and a journalist based in New York City. She is fiercely passionate about amplifying stories that challenge mainstream narratives. Her experience stretches from covering political news, social justice, arts and culture as a print journalist in Egypt to documentary filmmaking featuring stories on social justice and human rights in the United States. Engy worked on multiple documentaries featured on CNN, Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Vox and Disney +. Engy was awarded the Open Society Fellowship (OSF) recognizing her efforts in civic journalism in Egypt.
